Last Peek to Texas

There is a month every year, around April, there will be tons of wild flowers growing all over Texas. They do not last long, a couple of weeks usually. I was lucky enough to capture them in my pictures and share them with you. It's really pretty, like those scenes appear in Cartoons.

Left: This is the famous Blue Bonnet in Texas, the State Flower of Texas. They always appear in big patch. So pretty.

Right: My roommate in Texas, Darlene. She is from New Jersey and graduated the same time as me with her Masters too. There was one day we were driving and we saw all those beautiful flowers. We just stopped by and took pictures with them.

Left: Another big patch of Yellow Flowers. They are all just right there beside the highways. Everywhere.

Right: Yvette and Cynthia. They are my friends from A&M. Two very lovely and cute girls.

WWF - World Wrestling Federation, yea.. those really fake fighting between 2 muscular guys, always on TV. I didn't understand why it is so popular here. Some people are even addicted to it. And they went to College Station for one of their live broadcast. So in order to take a look at this part of "American Culture", I saw that show. Pretty interesting experience!

Left: Here comes a guy coming from the back stage showing his muscles.

Right: Here is a guy who just "Won" a fight. Standing on the ring and all that. Note the background, the entire arena was packed. People from all over Texas flocked to College Station to see this show. Not even that, people are so into this show that they would have idols from the show. They'll make signs or posters for them. Some of the signs are quite funny, they just point out where they are, like "Jake is Here!!!" So that people could locate them on TV.

Left: Two "HEFTY" girls are wrestling.

Right: Multiple people wrestling. They would even use junk like trash can or table to fight. Enhance visual entertainment I guess.
